Did the almond milk help? I think it needs to be dairy – it has something to do with the lactose (I think). My husband is a chile head so I recognize most of these sauces. He can do shots of the hottest sauces and always shocks people because he doesn't sweat or even have any pain (he's been eating hot sauce since he was about 8 years old – so it's cumulative). Some of those sauces contain concentrated resins so they are not just the normal hot pepper, they are deadly (not literally – but, you know what I mean)!
